Segment Explorer allows you to split your website up by URL paths to create segments or content groups that matter to you.

This helps us deal with websites that:

• Have a flat URL structure
• Have page templates that don’t align to URL structure
• Have specific reporting needs where we need granular control of how we aggregate content together.

Key Use cases for the page are:

• Tracking performance by segment
  • Drilling down into segments → pages → queries that are driving performance
• Site Migrations – Helping you track performance changes before and after site migrations.

Setup Instructions

This page is here to help you set up Segments Explorer in your current Explorer. This process will take you 5-10 minutes and the outcome will be you being able to track performance by segments (like content groups in GA) which is hugely important when content, and page templates don’t map to a URL directory structure.

1. Go to app.jepto.com

2. Click on Extension Icon for the pipeline you want to update

3. Click on Segments dropdown Icon

This will open up the editing experience inside Jepto
