Filtering the Data

Two Octobers Explorer for Search includes many built-in controls and filters to help slice and dice data in real time, providing insights about content, common landing pages, product pages, question searches, and much more. When first engaging with the report, take some time to play around with filters and controls to get a sense for how they work.

Filter by the Question Word

Select one, multiple or all question words as shown in the GIF on the right to see all queries that start with your selected term.

Filter by the Position Bucket

Select one, multiple or all Position Ranges in order to find Low-Hanging Fruit opportunities.

<aside> 💡 Hint: Notice that each bucket shows a count of impressions. This allows you to preview where the most potential click opportunities reside.

Filter by Search Query

Type the search query you would like to learn more about into the 'Search Query' bar and choose how exactly you would like data to match (e.g. Contains, Exact, RegEx, etc.).
