Size Requirements**:**

• Images should have a 4:3 ratio
• Range of 480 x 270 up to 2120 x 1192 with
• 1024 x 576 as the recommended size.
• Minimum Image Dimensions are 250px * 250px.

Image Hosting Best Practices

• Path to Images should go directly to the image URL. Redirects are not supported by the Google My Business (GMB) API.
• User your website's domain, as long as it supports image urls that are simple and easy for the GMB API to access like: https://domain.com/assets/images/image.jpg
• If you can't do that, create a dedicated subdomain that is used to host images for your organization or your client's organization. (We do this routinely at our agency).
  • You can use your organizations CPANEL (fileserver documentation) or Digital Ocean Droplet (Example using Filezilla)

Image Hosting Troubleshooting

• Path to Images should go directly to the image URL. Redirects are not supported by the GMB API.
• Images can't have super long / weird filenames produced by a content delivery network (CDN).
• Images can't be hosted in Google Drive.
• Images can't be hosted in Google Photos.
• Images can't be hosted in Dropbox personal. Dropbox professional works, but you need to confirm that the link points directly to the file and doesn't redirect when you paste that link into a browser to test it.
